While the rains are away, the workers come out to play. We got our goat shelter last fall just in time before the cold and wet hit us. There was just enough time to put it up and no time to paint. The sides are wood, so we knew it would be a project for the summer.

It lasted fine through the winter, but if we wanted it to last many more winters… it would need a good coat of paint. After a pressure wash, we primed and painted. We choose the mossy green color in hopes it would blend into the landscape. We think it worked perfectly… almost can’t even see it!

After we primed it — glad we didn’t pick white as our color!
