Just when we were starting to make plans for spring… winter came in with one last party. We had one of the worst ice storms we have seen in a while… with up to 2 inches of ice up in the trees and 1/2 inch on the ground. It froze all our activities to a complete stop and instead we spent the day inside catching up on home projects and school work.

The worst part was one of our horses was stuck at the equestrian center for two extra days since my daughter had her high school equestrian meeting the weekend the storm hit. However, it is all behind us now and we are all home safe and sound.
