Our goats have really enjoyed the pile of branches we left in the pasture after cutting up our fallen tree. We originally planned to burn the piles on the next dry day, but instead they have become tasty jungle gyms for the goats. They climb on top and strip off the bark to eat. It is much better for them to get this necessary fiber from a dead maple tree instead of tearing it from our live trees! Plus it is entertaining to watch them as they climb around!
