With all the cool, wet weather in June, our garden is a bit behind schedule. However, we did manage to have our first pea harvest tonight and it made for a great vegetable side dish at dinner.

Harvesting peas is a bit like those magic eye pictures. When you first look at the bushy vines you don’t see the peas. But it is funny how your eyes will register on one, and then a bunch more seem to just pop out at you.
