“Hey!” you might say… then you might hear back “Hay is for horses!” Well, it is true! We got about a two-hour break in the weather this weekend, so we decided to get a ton of hay delivered. Not only do our horses eat it, so do the goats. With two horses and four goats, we go through a lot of hay each year… usually around 4 to 5 tons! Yikes!

Hay deliveries are always a bit of an adventure. We were rushed this time as the weather was quickly turning… we actually managed to get the last bail in the barn just as it started to hail. It took all four of us (plus a cat or two) to move the hay. But my son said it best, “that was a lot of fun!”
